THE REGATTA will be hosted on the weekends of 20 th to 22 th March and 27 th to 28 th March 2010. The fundamental purpose will be to maintain the traditional spirit of the Admirals Cup and Table Bay Week, however introduce a combined premiere, competitive and exciting sailing regatta, namely D&A Group Cape Town Sailing Week. The fundamental ingredients of a successful regatta are a combination of a high quality social program coupled with a streamlined race organization; which will not only offer a top class sporting package but also an entertaining social festival in and around the sailing fraternity.

The organizers plan to attract over 50 yachts, which means a total of about 500 people excluding their partners and supporters.

RACING

The format of racing will be as follows:

Cape Town
Round the cans racing for Saturday and Sunday 20 th and 21th March. One medium distance race from Cape Town to Hout Bay will be scheduled for Monday 23 March.

Hout Bay
The following weekends racing, 27 th and 28 th MArch, will consist of two days of bay racing .

IRC DIVISION
Racing format will be competitive upwind-downwind courses and bay races

CLUB DIVISION (CLUB TCF)
Racing format will be upwind-downwind courses and bay races

RALLY DIVISION (CLUB TCF)
Bay races will be laid out for social competition. This division caters for MULTI-AND MONOHULLS
